The Grand Canyon, spanning 1,900 square miles contains more than 275 miles of the powerful Colorado River—the canyon's creator. Explore the canyon and its river with an epic adventure that combines sightseeing via air, water and land. The airplane, air-conditioned for your comfort, boasts large windows for the best viewing experience. The one-hour flight provides spectacular views of the canyon's Eastern Rim, which includes the Colorado River as well as Lake Powell, a four hundred foot deep man-made lake.
After landing, take a seat in the awaiting 4-wheel drive vehicle and venture off for a 90-minute guided tour through the upper Antelope Canyon. Hosted by a Native American guide, the tour winds through the stunning canyon, named for the herds of pronghorn antelope that used to roam throughout. Transfer from road to river, embarking on a rafting trip along the Colorado River. The motorized raft travels 15.5 miles downstream and includes a stop to view the canyon's ancient rock carvings, also known as petroglyphs. The rafting tour ends at historic Lee's Ferry. The drive back to the Grand Canyon National Airport includes travel through the Navajo Reservation and a stop at the Cameron Trading Post. Total tour time is approximately 12.5 hours.
All guests must be at least 4 years old to enjoy this experience!
